Dr. YuanTong GU received his B.E. and M. E. degrees from Dalian University of Technology (DUT), China, and got his Ph.D. from the Department of Mechanical Engineering of National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2003. He has conducted a number of research projects related to meshfree (meshless) methods, and he has authored more than 40 technical publications including more than 20 international journal papers. His research interests include: Finite Element Analysis and Modeling, Meshfree (meshless) Methods, Boundary Element Method, Mechanical Engineering, Ship and Ocean Engineering, Computational Microelectromechanical Systems (MEMS), High Performance Computing Techniques, Dynamic and Static Analyses of Structures, etc.
